From beginning our aim was to help our friends with any and every design need they had. We helped many of our friends and we realized that there were many other people that potentially could use our help.

Matta DS (Design Studio) was born just like the name indicates, design at the studio.

Matta DS, Focuses on the 2-Dimensional design that surrounds the internet: Web site Design, Flash Animation, Graphic Design and 3D Modeling. Putting all these disciplines together, allows us to provide our clients with a new and exciting Corporate Identity, on the Internet or anywhere else.

The Beginning

In 1998, during their first semester of Industrial Design studies in Bogotá, Colombia, Santiago Sarmiento and Daniel Matta met, and started a friendship that eventually led to the creation of Matta Design Studio. Since then, both Santiago and Daniel have shared an immense love for what they do, and have enjoyed many different branches of design in many stages of their lives.

After Graduating College, Santiago spent some time in Barcelona, Spain, specializing in 3D Graphics and 3D Animation. Meanwhile, Daniel settled in the United States where he has worked and gained experience in various fields like Architectural Design, Web Design, and Graphic Design.

Since 2008 they have joined forces to provide clients with exceptional service in many Design fields with the creation of Matta Design Studio. Currently Matta DS consists of a team of Designers that provides services both in the United States and Colombia.
